I teach in a first grade classroom in the Boston Public Schools where my students, many of whom are learning English as a second language, are immersed in activities to develop their speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills in English while they engage in hands-on interdisciplinary learning to access the grade level content areas. Many of my students' families are struggling to make ends meet, and our school administration is struggling to stretch our budget as far as it can go. My students need your support to access engaging and enriching materials to support their classroom learning. Your gift makes a huge difference in their lives!
