These books will make a difference in my students' learning because they will greatly appreciate new books that are not worn out and that are culturally relevant. Often times books are outdated, and as we progress in society some books are no longer relevant to our students day to day lives. These two sets of books will help students learn to love to read for pleasure and will be enjoyable because they can relate to the theme of the novels. Reading helps students gain access to vocabulary and other important texts that will prepare them to advocate for themselves.
