I have requested a variety of art materials including crayons, construction paper, paints, and painting supplies. With these materials, I plan to expand each students' experience, as well as, help them express themselves through art. My students are excited and passionate about art. I would like to give them more crafting opportunities.
These art supplies will allow my students to experiment and grow as artists. With limited supplies right now, students are getting few opportunities to paint.
Being a teacher in a rural community school means I am not only the teacher of core subjects, but also the teacher for all "specials" including art. These supplies are not provided by the school due to budget restrictions.
Thank you for your consideration.
