My learners are children with developmental disabilities from low income families that live in Baltimore City. My learners range from 0-3 years old. What makes my classroom unique is their parents also come to class with them! My interactive caregiver and child class gives me the opportunity to model specific strategies for parents. I also work closely with speech, occupational, and physical therapist to ensure that each child's needs are met. In additional to learning strategies, I also try to connect my parents with community resources.
