My amazing class is a third grade class in Arizona. This is a public school in a low socioeconomic area. Students are faced with many challenges, including poverty. The cultures in the class make the students unique and special. All students are speakers of other languages, learning English as their second language. There are several refugee students from Iraq, Somalia, and Ethiopia. These students have little to no prior education and have had to flee their countries because of turmoil. My dynamic class brings me joy as we learn from each other daily. They are motivated to learn, and are eager to help others learn too. They strive for the best, and enjoy trying new things.
