These Kindle Fires will benefit my students in so many ways. They will become more engage with learning because of the techonology. I will be able to use interactive games and activities and that will allow my students to learn in a more entertaining, yet still completely instructional, way.
Most of my students do not have access to ANY technology at home. My school also has very little technology. So overall, my students are not getting to use much technology in their lives at all. These Kindle Fires will give my students more access to technology at school so that when they enter the world as adults they will have some experience in the technology world.
With these kindles, I will be able to facilitate group projects. I will also be able to have students bring up the text books and other books that we use every day. The kindles will allow me to do all of this while also creating lessons that will include web 2.0 tools that will make the lessons more engaging for my students.
