Not all of my students will go to college and that is okay. Some may start work to help their families or enroll in a vocational or trade school.
My job as a teacher is to prepare all my students for life, not just college. To me, that means making sure they are ready to take care of themselves and others around them. To help with the basic need of cooking is to give them the skills to cook and the proper equipment to use.
This project is to give the students the tools that will allow me to teach that skill. Cooking equipment such as, cooking pots, bowls, and all the things you need to cook with (spatula, turner, spoons, whisk, etc.) is what I need to teach them the skills that will allow them to move on to the next chapter in their lives.
With Ðǿմ«Ã½.org, I hope to bring experiences to them that they would not have had the opportunity to even know existed. Your kokua (help) is greatly appreciated. Mahalo nui loa (thank you very much) for taking the time to read my proposal and possibly fund this project.
Mahalo and Aloha!
