The materials I am requesting for my class will make a great difference in my students' learning. These iPads will allow my students who need additional support across all subject areas greater opportunities to excel. Students will also be using these iPads during small group instruction (i-Ready, Reflex Math), as well as to conduct research through several apps for our STEM and PLTW (Project Lead the Way) projects throughout the school year.
We currently have a class set of iPads, however, they are outdated and many apps will no longer function as they run on an updated version of Apples i0S. Many of the iPads also do not have functioning headphone jacks, after so many years of use.
Having these materials will help meet the ever constant increase demand of technology integration within our curriculum as well as make up for the outdated technology we currently have in our class.
