At Kavod Elementary, we are a dual language immersion school that focuses on respect. My kids are energetic, funny, kind, motivated children who show perseverance through even the most difficult tasks I ask of them. They have proudly earned themselves titles such as "super star writer," "math wizard," "scientist," and "friend." They ask, "Are you OK?" when another kid trips and falls on the playground. They're full of wonder. They understand the importance of kindness and respect for each other, their school, their families, and their communities. They are culturally diverse and love to discover what makes them alike and how they are all different. They love to get paint everywhere, sing off tune, and make each other smile. Step into my world of kindergarten and remember what it is like to be a kid!
