Our students are unique because of the diversity found within our classroom. Currently I teach Inclusion Geometry with Ms. Turney. Serving approximately 150 students, inclusion education is the integration of special needs students with the general population.
My classroom is a place for diverse students to learn and grow into young adults with the skills to thrive in our ever developing world.
These students come from a variety of cultural, ethnic, and socio-economic backgrounds. Our school is almost all low income with students from all around the world making 39% of our students English Language Learners as well. We have been named the most diverse school in the state of Arkansas.
Our goal is to provide every possible advantage for our students to develop the skills necessary to become as successful as they can be, regardless of how their disability may try hinder them.
