Hi all! Thank you for your interest in donating to my classroom. ANY donation, large, small or very small is valued! My second graders attend a public K-8 school in a high poverty area of California. Due to the emphasis on testing, most of my instructional focus is devoted to language arts, math, and test prep. Additionally funding for the arts and enrichment activities has been minimized. I need to provide my students with both, basic instruction and mind expanding enrichment activities, to help them realize their potential. I want them to find and develop their own ingenuity and vision. I want my students to know that they too have a story, their story.
