My name is Shanna Queenie and I am one of two resource teachers at Sumter County Intermediate School. I conduct pull-outs for small group instruction. My students consist of children who are identified as students with disabilities and they all vary in their skills and abilities. Majority of my students have ADHD and have difficulties in sitting still or sitting at all for a set period of time. Traditional seating is not what appeals to my students nor does it fit their specific needs. My classroom is not the ideal size when dealing with a total of 24 students (sometimes 10 students at one time).
