The materials will help my Kindergarten students improve the amount of time they are able to stay focused on a specific task or lesson. Research supports the notion that flexible seating improves students concentration and ability to stay motivated throughout the task/activity. These flexible seating options will be used during independent reading time to give the students choice and fun places to sit around the room so that they stay interested and engaged in their reading experiences. The flexible seating options will enhance their learning. They will be able to choose these seating options throughout the day. These seats will also help aid with behaviors.
