Daily computer enrichment, research, and intervention with technology is almost impossible with 25-30 students in two classes, and only three desktop student stations. The extra technology will allow my students to rotate throughout the day for their daily enrichment time, without losing instructional time to travel to and from a computer lab in another building. My students will have access to digital applications in both math and science.
The added technology will create opportunities for my students to work individually or collaboratively on research. The increased number of technological devices will provide my struggling students additional time to use technology-based interventions to assist in their success in math and science. For example, before school and during enrichment hour, my students will be able to access intervention websites such as Front Row, Moby Max, and Compass/Pathblazer to work on mastery of skills.
