This year I am focusing on incorporating technology into the classroom. My school is currently not 1:1 with technology. I am hopeful that I can gain two Samsung tablets, cases, and chargers for my classroom. Students would be able to use these devices throughout the day to further their learning.
It is proven that technology is a useful tool to differentiate instruction in the classroom. My goal is to introduce websites, apps, etc. to my students that help them reach their learning targets throughout the year. My kids are eager to use technology when it is available to us. Having more options of technology in the classroom will increase student engagement and motivation. They also are eager to share their notes, writing pieces, projects, science experiments, and more to their e-portfolios. With easy access to a tablet, they will be able to post their work and add pictures and videos with ease.
My students are so deserving of this! I hope that I can gain the help of those to aid in my student's growth.
