I am a special education teacher who teaches student on the autism spectrum. There are 3 other autism classrooms at my school. Our students are in grades K-5 and we are located in Central Florida. This year our goal is to open up a sensory room at our school. This room will be a safe space for our students and provide multi-sensory experiences with visual, auditory, tactile, vestibular and gross motor activities.Awesome is a great word to describe all of our students. They are eager to learn and each one of them is so different and brings something so unique to the classroom. Help us make this dream become a reality for our students!
