I need 50 subscriptions to Scholastic's StoryWorks Jr. Magazines. Using the StoryWorks Jr. magazines, my third grade students will have access to reading material that aligns with the Common Core State Standards. Utilizing StoryWorks Jr. will help my students with academic reading. StoryWorks Jr. will provide my students with test readiness skills for the PARCC test, academic and domain specific vocabulary. In addition, StoryWorks Jr. will give my students practice with reading skills such as close reading, main idea, and text features. After the magazines are used for instruction, my students will be able to keep and continue to enjoy it at home and share with their families.
StoryWorks Jr. magazine is full of fiction and non-fiction passages that will keep my students reading materials that are engaging and exciting. I have seen what this magazine can do for struggling and reluctant readers. I would love to be able to provide my students with this amazing resource.
