All of my students, those with and without disabilities, benefit from utilizing tools to showcase group work and ideas. We frequently assign readings to small groups. They are asked to annotate, provide examples and create a claim to support or go against the aim of the day. Activities like these require tools like large white boards for students to share their information, but also provide a second form of data for their peers to take notes with. Many of my students struggle with simple auditory learning, so by supplementing verbal presentations with a visual support such as written notes, this will assist with their learning.
