Over 90% of our student body lives at or below the poverty line. Many students are from immigrant families and will be the first person in their family to graduate from high school. Students have jobs to help contribute to their household income. Poverty does not hold our kids back. They work hard, and are dedicated to the music program and to school. Music keeps many of our students in school, and helps them to have a goal and to graduate.
