Our students come from all over our public school district in search of a school that better fits their needs. Like so many across the country, our students and families have been deeply affected by the COVID-19 pandemic and made the decision to leave their home school and attend our virtual school to protect their health and the health of their families.
However, so many of our students are at our school for their mental and emotional health. Many of our students suffer from anxiety and depression. Several of our students are victims of bullying. And some of our students are ready to complete their high school education and move on with their higher education and/or careers.
Regardless of why a student has moved to our virtual school, they are all served by the Launch Counseling staff. Students come into our Counseling Center to enroll, discuss college and career plans, and meet for one-on-one social-emotional counseling support. We want our Counseling Center to be a safe and inviting place where ALL students feel supported.
We are requesting the assistance of our community to help make this dream a reality! Although we are still a new school, we want our Counseling Center to reflect the warmth and support that we bring as counselors every single day.
