I teach English as a Second Language, ESL, in an urban school in New Jersey. We have over 600 students from Pre-K through the 5th grade. Although we have a diverse population, most of the students are Hispanic whose families come from countries such as The Dominican Republic, Mexico, and Honduras. Although they have the challenge of learning a 2nd language, my students are great and eager to learn. I feel very fortunate to work with such interested and warm students.
