I am working on adding comfy spots in my classroom for students to read, as well as to sit in when they need time away from their desk chairs. I want the atmosphere to be inviting for the students and for them to enjoy learning and reading!
By adding comfy bean bag chairs to my calming, lamp-lit room, I hope for the students to feel less pressured while learning. I want them to feel relaxed when they enter the room and comfortable in their seating.
I am also hoping it will allow some students to gain a love for reading, as they sink in and relax, while enjoying a good book.
