Due to remote learning, kindergarten students are learning from home without any hands on manipulatives. I am trying to get tools in students hands so they can have a better understanding of the academic content being taught. These unifix cubes will help foster learning by giving students additional support during our math instruction. Unifix cubes are a great manipulative to create number patterns, solve addition and subtraction problems, and 1:1 counting. These cubes will be used in both our whole group math lessons and our small group lessons. This tool provides a visual to represent the cardinal value number and allows hands on learners to manipulate in order to solve a variety of problems.
