Seat sacks are more than just an item added to a chair. They are a helpful addition to a child's desk, which streamline classroom transitions and allow students to learn about organization and responsibility. Time is often wasted in the classroom when it takes 3-5 minutes to pass out an item that could easily be kept at students' seats. Seat sacks would help my class move seamlessly from lesson to lesson.
A lot of learning happens in first grade, and these seat sacks will help my students have direct access to their materials. Responsibility is not a natural behavior; it has to be learned. Providing each of my students with a seat sack will give them the opportunity to learn the importance of being organized and taking care of their personal belongings - lessons they will carry with them through life!
