With the ever-growing use of technology and greater accessibility, student engagement and manner of learning has changed rapidly over the past few years. Integrating technology into our classroom promotes engagement, collaboration, and allows my students to take ownership of their learning. My classroom is equipped with eight iPads, one per group, which are used daily with various applications and activities. We need one additional iPad and protective case to be used for recording on a tripod. Students will then use Air Drop to transfer their recording to their group iPad for editing; which will allow for another group to take their turn. We are also in need of a chromakey green screening light, tripod, and microphone to be able to create movies, animations, book reviews, conduct interviews, record news segments, and so much more in order to broaden their creativity and ingenuity. A charging dock would facilitate in keeping all iPads charged and ready to go. In addition, batteries are needed to power a variety of devices used in our classroom like hanging led lights, clocks, timers, etc. Please help equip our classroom with the tools necessary to create 21st century learners.
