My students attend a Title I school in Porter, Texas. Our school serves students where a majority of the students speak more than one language as well as receive free or reduced lunches. Most of my students have limited supplies, materials, and resources at home. In the past year, many of our students have experienced numerous hardships and challenges after Hurricane Harvey during the recovery efforts. All of these factors make it difficult for my students to have the same experiences as other children their age.
In my classroom, I diligently work to provide fun and engaging experiences so the students will be excited about learning and attending school each day. My classroom is colorful and inviting for all learners to grow!
