With a library makerspace, students will have the ability to create & collaborate. Through building, designing, or simply playing a board game, students can embrace their own creativity and build social skills that will take them far in an out of the classroom setting. With a library makerspace, student creativity is unlimited! Our library makerspace will allow students to work on DIY projects, create art, practice building and engineering, and anything else they can imagine. Additionally, this space provides a positive extracurricular opportunity for all students, embracing varying interests and skill levels. Some of the items needed to create this space are: Legos, 3d pens, magna-tiles, beginner microscope, rock tumbler, board games & a pencil sharpener for art projects.
