These materials will help young people transition back to in-person learning. After the global pandemic, students are facing a lot of anxiety and unresolved trauma. Our social work office will allow students to decompress, relax and get the fuel they need to perform well in class. By purchasing these items, you will be supporting the emotional, social and academic development of our students. The snacks will bridge the gap between hunger and school performance. The sensory toys will help students identify healthy coping mechanisms by using stress balls, fidget spinners and kinetic sand.
As a first year school-social worker, I am committed to supporting our students by providing them with social and mental health support. Your donations are appreciated. Thank you!
