Ninety percent of our students are eligible for free/reduced price school lunch. Our students are capable but often lack rich literacy experiences needed for school success. Many students act out in the classroom due to the frustration of struggling with reading. Our goal is to provided our first and second graders literacy experiences so that they will all be reading on grade level by third grade.
