Sit back, relax, and dive straight in to the wonders of a great book! As a first year teacher, I would love to be able to provide my students with an ample amount of books to choose from in their classroom library. Giving students the choice of their own book lets them display independence. Having such classroom books will also enhance my print-rich classroom for the students. The resources I have chosen for my project include a set of guided reading books, cushioned seating for a more relaxed setting, and dry erase pouches that can be used for formative assessments, small group and whole group activities a well.
