The materials requested will provide many different learning opportunities for my students not typically provided in the school day. These STEM activities will provide them with a time to investigate, create, and build in a way they wouldn't typically in a classroom. These materials will also provide a time for my students to collaboratively problem solve and learn to work as a team. Lastly, these materials will allow for a time in the morning for my students to come in, get settled and allow them to begin their days with a soft start. This means students will be able to eat and regulate their brain before taking on the academic pressure of the day. By donating to this project you are helping create a time for my students to discover, collaborate and get adjusted to their school day.
