Our school is nestled in a small town in North Carolina, with only one high school. Our families often struggle to find employment and opportunity.
Each student in my classroom is inquisitive and devoted to learning, although the method and environment in which they learn best vary greatly. I incorporate a variety of learning strategies, group work, and learning options to ensure that each student's needs are met, right where they are.
One of the best ways to do this is to allow students to read independently with a novel that they choose. I would like to make my classroom library more accessible for students by providing them with titles that are high-interest.
