The materials that I am requesting will be put to immediate use and already have a space in class. I want to use the carpet and bean bags to create a comfortable reading space for my second graders. It's my goal to create a really comfortable safe place to read for my struggling readers. All students need to discover the joy of reading and giving them a comfortable place to read will encourage reading in class. I want students to really love reading. Most of my students are currently reading below grade level and providing them with a special place to read in class will help students to relax and just read.
