My class and I do a lot of group assignments to help us immerse ourselves in the math and science lessons we do daily. With task cards, students work collaboratively or at their own pace on different examples of the concept being learned, in different areas of the room. It provides differentiation beyond a worksheet.
With a color printer, laminating pouches, ink and paper, it would be easier to access these materials directly from our room, especially because my students love helping put them together!
This is also helpful for the timing of our lessons and we can access resources that I can print directly from our classroom.
Due to many students not having access to a printer at home, this allows us to use this for reasons outside of our task cards, too, such as research papers and writing assignments!
