My classroom is filled with traditional seats and desks, and I am looking to create a more inviting, creative, and flexible environment for my learners. Moving can help the mind focus and concentrate, which in turn can help students learn and remember more! It is also my goal to make my classroom feel like a home for my amazing students, and this project would make that dream a reality for myself and my students. I am looking to add flexible seating options such as yoga balls, stools, inflatable chairs, bounce bands, and more. These items will be used in addition to the desks we already use. These items will be earned by the students and will teach them to respect their workspace and take care of their learning environment! Overall these flexible seating options will allow for more flexibility in the classroom and will meet the needs of each individual learner/learning style present in my room.
