Right now, my students sit on the hard floor to play instruments and it's not conducive to learning. A colorful and comfortable carpet would really help. They could sit on the floor and have easy access to instruments, but would not have to sit on the cold hard tile.
The listening center would allow me to give kids the chance to listen and write about music individually. This will definitely help incorporate literacy into my music lessons.
The 2 xylophones will complete a class set I've been working on for 13 years. This way each student can have their own. Sharing is always difficult with Orff instruments such as xylophones.
