My students are energetic, ready to learn 6 and 7 year olds! There is a range of educational levels, in my classroom. I have a class of ELL (English Language Learners) students, and they come from a variety of diverse backgrounds, including many refugee students that have never been in school before. This class has 5 students that speak absolutely no English, also known as monolingual. One of the most amazing things they all have in common is that they enjoy learning! As a class we have set goals and we also set individual goals. My students and I work hard to achieve these goals.
My students do not receive any extra help in school, their learning and growth is solely based on me. This is sometimes a challenge with 20 plus students.
