I believe every world history and geography course needs a map! It is an absolute necessity. My students need hands-on tools for geographic exploration in order to gain a better understanding of historical and geographical concepts that include the study of maps, location, and topography.
I'm requesting two US/World Advanced Political Classroom Combo Wall Maps and two Desktop World Globe with Blue Oceans. These maps and globes will provide a visual for our regional studies and are laminated to endure close examination by my inquisitive students. Through the use of these maps and globes, students will be more engaged in their learning of the world and its geography.
Both the maps and the globes are indispensable and important tools in encouraging scholars to become historical and geographical thinkers.
