We currently have one “wobble chair” in our classroom that students eagerly wait their turn for. I have found that the chosen student tends to be more focused and has better endurance for lessons and classwork. My ultimate goal is to be able to offer my students several flexible seating options. Having two more wobble chairs, five inflatable seat cushions and two balance ball chairs would allow me to offer options to 1/3 of my students at a time rather than one. With the donated seating, I anticipate increased focus and an overall improvement in the classroom atmosphere. Many of my kids are happier in an alternative seating option - happier kids make for a more positive classroom environment and more effective learning!
