I am teaching 4 ELA classes this year with about 30 students to each class. As you can imagine, these classrooms are filled with different individuals and personalities. Leaders of tomorrow are what I call them. The classroom is very diverse. I have students from all different backgrounds in my classroom (Blacks, Hispanics, Bengalis etc.) In 6th-grade literature/ reading can become very difficult to comprehend. In most urban schools such as mine, children do not have access to the proper tools they need to become successful. Most students don't enjoy reading or writing. So I am here to make that difference in their lives. To enforce great reading skills and encourage the enjoyment of reading.
