Greetings! My name is Ms. Tope' P. Harris and I am a special education resource teacher. I received my Masters in Early Childhood Special Education from Mercer University in 2010. I have taught children with exceptional disabilities and learning disabilities for the past four years. I work hard daily to promote independence, self value and self worth within my students. I plan lessons to help students grow academically and design activities that will develop their creativity and capture their interest. I care deeply about each one of my students and I believe each of them can learn and grow. I am striving hard to make sure that my students have access to and receive the general education curriculum for their grade level so that they can be on target with the Georgia Professional Standards. I love what I do and I look forward to teaching special education for many years to come.
