Many of my students are English Language Learners and have IEPs to aid their learning. Over half of the students do not speak English at home, and for many, English is not their first language. Despite many challenges, my students work hard, think deep, and always take extra effort to learn and share with each other.
Our school is a Title 1 Boston Public School, that serves many underprivileged students in the community. Approximately 90% of our students are from low-income households and all of our students are eligible receive free lunch. Many of them will hopefully be the first in their family to go to college.
