Students at my school are awesome, and I look forward to going to work every day to work with them! We are a Title 1 school in a low socioeconomic community where the majority of our students partake in the free lunch program. Many parents rely on a single income and some even work 2 jobs, but still struggle to support their family. My students have a desire to learn and do well in school. I want to help my students become global and tech-savvy citizens. I have also seen that our students are more invested and motivated to learn when they have access to technology at school, or they are engaged in work or a project they perceive as fun! I know that with the right support, resources, and opportunities, my students can experience academic success.
