My student are full of life. They are in a small school part of a rather large district and many of them come from low socioeconomic backgrounds. They like to learn and many of them are bright but they often do not have the resources available to thrive in the technological world. Many of my students are burdened with more than children should be. Being the librarian, I see all the students. Because of this, resources in the library are accessible to all children in the school. This way, students of all ages, backgrounds, and skill levels can learn more about the technological world we now live in. As of now, the students only have access to technology when their classes go to the computer lab in the building. These students are digital natives and we need to teach them as such.
