Hello there! I'm an AVID teacher at an under-served Middle School in Texas. Students in the AVID program would be the first in their family to go to college and show great college potential with the right support. AVID aims to work towards closing the achievement gap for these students with challenging circumstances, many of which are English language learners. In this class, we strengthen writing, reading comprehension, math, and many interpersonal/social skills to prepare for the professional world. Thank you for visiting Donors Choose!
