There are so many different learning styles and accommodations to consider when you have hundreds of different students. Many of my students do not speak English as their first language but that does not stop them from being engaged and trying their hardest in the music classroom. Many of my students come from low-income situations as well. I teach 21 class of about 28 K-4 students and 2 autism classes. By the first month of school, I know everyone's name and am able to focus on creating fun, meaningful and musical experiences with them.
