We are so excited because our school has finally gained the space to allow for a S.T.E.A.M. lab for our students. However, we need to fill the space with meaningful and engaging materials. A group of teachers at our school split the project between us to help acquire these materials through ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½.org.
These materials allow all our students, regardless of ability, to access and engage in science, engineering, technology, art and math concepts! The fairy tale STEAM kits help our students discover the STEAM in their favorite fairy tales—and naturally inspire them to explore each challenging situation until they find a solution! Each kit comes with a STEAM-focused story card, building materials, a guide, plus student and teacher cards with lesson plans and full support. Our students can engineer happier endings to fairy tales—as they design a house that can’t be blown down, construct a bridge that keeps 3 goats safe from the troll and build a chair even Goldilocks can’t break!
