I am the ESOL teacher at Kelsey L. Pharr Elementary in Miami, where I support students from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds. Many are new to the U.S. and are learning English while adjusting to a new environment. I work with them in small groups and individually to build their language skills and confidence. I also tutor students after school to give them extra help and guidance. In addition to teaching, I co-sponsor the school yearbook and chess club, helping students express creativity and build critical thinking skills. My students are eager to learn but face challenges due to limited resources. Your support helps provide the tools they need to succeed in school and beyond. Thank you!
