My Transitional Kindergarten students are amazing little people! Despite their appearance and for some, the trauma they have endured, they are capable of so much. Not only do my students warm the hearts of everyone that passes, but they boggle the mind with their achievement and growth as the year progresses. TK is a magical world all on it's own, where students take their first step towards independence, and where the fundamentals of citizenship are taught. My class is a warm and inviting place where students from a range of environments learn and grow with a mix of structured-purposeful play opportunities that is a balance of teacher and student led, with differentiated and interdisciplinary instruction.
