I like to be able to give my students unique and adventurous Science lessons. The products I am requesting will enable me to give my students more authentic learning experiences in multiple Science standards. The weather products will help students see that many of the things that happen here in Utah are caused by forces in another part of the world. The Moon Phases model will allow students to reason as to why we see different celestial bodies in the sky at different times of the month/year. The items for food web/chains will help students understand that everything in our world has an affect whether direct or indirect on another plant or animal.
The donations to this project will help improve my students' understanding of Science questioning and reasoning. Being able to give my students access to additional ways of seeing and understanding some of the more complicated areas of our Science curriculum will go a long to helping them more proficient at questioning and reasoning.
